“TO BE A VESSEL” is an experiential ceramics workshop combining open-ended inner reflective exercises with directive clay work to help you explore what it means for something to be a “vessel,” and how this can apply literally & figuratively to the clay work we do in class, and perhaps to the ways you conceptualize moments outside of class.

You will:

• learn how to hand-build a torso with clay, led by the owner of Artime BARRO (you can keep the time you make once it’s fired & glazed)

• learn how to reflect on the meaning of being a vessel and how that interprets into your own life through guided journaling questions and conscious conversation, led by yours truly (journaling paper is printed on seed paper, so you can take home your notes to keep or plant them and watch them grow)
