Journaling Is Neat! A guided community journaling gathering

Join us for a cozy, community-filled evening of guided journaling practices, contemplation, and group conversation surrounding self-reflection and a celebration of the warmth + joy that the summer season represents in our lives.

All are welcome! Whether you’re an experienced journal-er or you’re just curious to try a new way to learn about yourself and others, you’re welcome here. Can’t wait to see you!

Nicole, a trained associate therapist, writer & wellness event host, will take you through intentionally-curated journal prompts & lead conscious conversation amongst the community, all in the comfort of Neat's cozy backyard setup, As another symbolic touch to the session, the journal questions you're provided with are printed on seed paper so that you can keep your notes to reflect on later or plant them and watch them grow.

Price: $40 per person

Included in ticket: sustainably-minded writing materials and cozy backyard seating setup (ahem: twinkly lights!), intentionally-curated journal prompts printed on seed paper for you to take home with you, & a mental health-informed guide to lead you through exercises.

Previous attendees have said…

“I love these gatherings! Nicole always creates such a safe space for me to open up more and her questions always help me think about things differently than I had before.”

“Everything is so beautifully designed and detail-oriented, and I love that I get to just show up and everything is ready for me. I feel really taken care of when I come here, and that’s unexpectedly one of my favorite parts of these events.”

About your host:

Nicole Smolinski is a Tedx speaker, wellness event host & author of Amazon’s #1 New Release Finding My Way Back: Poems on Coming Alive, Healing & Self-Discovery; she is trained as an associate mental health clinician in California (AMFT, APCC). As she spent time with her therapy clients, she began dreaming up ways where the principles she’s guided people through in therapy could be brought outside of the therapy room and into our communities. Her wellness events were born out of a vision where well-being is accessible and connective for the everyday person. As someone who's consistently found art and creation to be cathartic, she enjoys exploring the intersection between psychology & creativity; while there is an extremely valuable place for therapy in our world, Nicole aims to forge a path where well-being is explored creatively, and conscious conversations are accessible, connective, and non-intimidating for the everyday person.
